MKED 6500 is an endoscope drying cabinet that dries washed and disinfected flexible endoscopes and stores them hanging until their next use. A PTC fan drying system keeps the cabinet at a steady 25–40 °C, and six antibacterial-filtered air outlets dry the internal channels of the scopes. With a 254 nm UV system, an LCD control panel and a 360° rotating hanger, it is built from AISI 304 stainless steel for 7, 9 or 11 endoscopes.
MKED 6500 and MKED 6501 share the same body, capacity and hanger system; the difference is the drying and UV equipment.

It dries washed and disinfected flexible endoscopes, outside and through their internal channels, and stores them hanging in a dust-protected space until their next use. Moisture left in the channels supports microbial growth, so drying is the most critical step of storage.
It is available for 7, 9 or 11 endoscopes. The 360° rotating hanger and removable hanger slots give easy access to the scopes.
Six antibacterial-filtered air outlets feed air into the internal channels of the scopes. The PTC fan keeps the cabinet at a steady 25–40 °C.
The 254 nm UV is synchronized with the door and does not run while the door is open. The 6 mm tempered glass door blocks UV rays from passing outside.
MKED 6501 has the same body, capacity and hanger system but no drying fan, channel drying, UV or LCD control panel; it provides storage only. Compare with the non-drying endoscope cabinet.
